Beijing’s Chaoyang District will conduct two new rounds of nucleic acid testing on May 1 and 3 due to the latest COVID-19 resurgence, Yang Beibei, deputy head of Chaoyang District, said at a press briefing on Saturday. 

Beijing reported 67 new positive COVID-19 cases from 3:00 p.m. Friday to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, including 59 confirmed and eight asymptomatic, local authorities have said.
