The governor of Russia's Kursk region said that several mortar shells were fired at the Krupets checkpoint from Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian border guards said they recorded shelling from the territory of Russia near the Ukrainian checkpoint "Senkivka".
Both sides claimed no casualties were caused.
