U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will visit France on May 7 and discuss the Ukraine situation with allies from France, Germany, Italy and the UK.

She would meet with “French MFA Secretary General Francois Delattre, German MFA State Secretary Andreas Michaelis, Italian MFA Secretary General Ettore Sequi, and UK Minister of State for Europe and North America James Cleverly to discuss our ongoing, close coordination to respond to Putin’s brutal, unprovoked war against Ukraine,” the U.S. State Department announced.

France is the last stop of Sherman’s foreign visits that will start on May 2, as she will also travel to South Africa, Angola and Gabon.
