One person was killed and six others injured as an Mi-8 helicopter made a hard landing at an airfield in Russia's Transbaikal Territory, TASS reported on Sunday, citing emergency services.

A total of 15 people including crew members were on board, the head of the press service of the Transbaikal Territory government, Roman Shadrin, said, adding that the cause of the incident is being determined.
