Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disclosed via Twitter on Saturday that he discussed defensive support for Ukraine with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, as well as the situations on the battlefield and in the besieged city of Mariupol in eastern Ukraine.
Johnson later said he set out to Zelenskyy how the UK will continue to provide military and humanitarian aid to give Ukrainians the equipment they need to defend themselves.
Russia has repeatedly spoken against providing Ukraine with arms.
