Finnish consortium Fennovoima has terminated its contract with Russia's state-owned nuclear power supplier Rosatom for the delivery of the planned nuclear power plant "Hanhikivi 1" in Finland, Fennovoima said in a statement on Monday.
"Unfortunately, the termination of the EPC contract is estimated to have a significant employee impact in Fennovoima and is expected to impact also the supply chain companies and Pyhäjoki region," said Fennovoima's CEO Joachim Specht.
