A sarcophagus tomb was discovered with pottery and bronze wares in a town in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Swirl-pattern double-eared jars, other forms of pottery, and bronze wares were found inside. The tomb was built with stone masonry. Its pit is 1.35 meters long and 0.7 meters wide. The tomb's owner was buried on his side with arms and legs bent inside the sarcophagus. The northern side of the sarcophagus was buried with a horse head, which indicates that the owner may have been a shepherd. Also unearthed were two bronze swords. From the shape of the pottery and bronze knives, the wares are estimated to date back to the Han Dynasty (202 BC-AD 220) and the Jin Dynasty (265-420).
