A three-story residential building collapse in Nigeria's commercial capital Lagos, killed eight people and injured 23 others. Injured and those rescued were taken to hospitals, the emergency services said on Monday.
The collapse happened at around 10:56 p.m. local time Sunday.
Online news site Pulse Nigeria said the building, located on Ibadan Street, Ebute-Metta Eastin Lagos was in bad shape before its collapse, and occupants had been warned to evacuate.
