The Eastern Theater Command Navy of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) recently conducted realistic training in the East China Sea, said the official WeChat account of the command on Tuesday.
The training, involving various warships like the Type 056 "Deyang" corvette and the Type 054 "Wenzhou" frigate, aimed to verify the warships' ability of cooperating with each other and enhance commanders' abilities.

The Wenzhou frigate detected an unknown aerial target and coordinated the whole formation to destroy it while defending its attacks.
The formation also successfully destroyed a marine target in a similar manner.

The Deyang corvette also practiced the emergency process to extinguish a fire in its fuel pipe.
