China on Tuesday revealed the recipients of the 2022 May Fourth Medal, the top honor for young Chinese presented ahead of Youth Day to celebrate their contributions to the country. The 155 recipients come from fields such as healthcare, agriculture and education. Olympic champions including diver Quan Hongchan and weightlifter Chen Lijun were among 73 individual awardees.
