EU sanctions to target Russia's global oil sales: report

The European Union is proposing banning European vessels and companies from providing services, including insurance, linked to the transportation of Russian oil globally, in addition to a proposed gradual import ban on Russian oil, as part of the bloc's sixth package of sanctions, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.
