Latest developments on Russia-Ukraine conflict

– Lviv in the west of Ukraine has been hit by "six Russian missiles which assumed flow from the Caspian region" overnight, Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, said on Wednesday morning, adding three missiles hit electrical substations in the region, causing power outages.

–  Two missiles flying over the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia were shot down, local media reported.

– Ukrainian railway authorities said six train stations in west and central Ukraine were attacked on Tuesday evening.

– Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed defense assistance to Ukraine during a phone call with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda on Tuesday. They also discussed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, the situation in Mariupol and further sanctions against Russia, according to a readout from the Ukrainian president. Zelenskyy also invited Duda to address the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

– Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation to discuss preparations for a forthcoming meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's leaders, the Kremlin said on Tuesday. 

– The two leaders also talked about Russia's "special military operation" in Donbas, TASS reported.
