Beijing reported 39 new local COVID-19 infections from 3:00 p.m. Wednesday to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, including 34 confirmed cases and five asymptomatic, local health authorities said at a press briefing on Thursday.
A total of 544 COVID-19 infections have been registered in the latest outbreak.
