Derek Chauvin to be sentenced 20-25 years

A federal judge has accepted Derek Chauvin's plea deal and will sentence him to 20 to 25 years in prison. Chauvin pleaded guilty in December 2021 to violating George Floyd's civil rights. It was the first time he admitted that he kept his knee on Floyd's neck, resulting in his death.
