President Stephen Orlins of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations said there should be a greater appreciation for the peace that the U.S.-China relationship has brought. Conversely, there is too much rhetoric for potential conflict between the United States and China. He highlighted that the U.S.-China relationship has been the foundation for peace in Asia.
