Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian on May 5 urged the U.S. to stop cybertheft targeting China and other countries and be a truly responsible actor in cyberspace. According to U.S. media reports, a U.S. cybersecurity institution said that "Chinese government-linked hackers have tried to steal sensitive data from some three dozen manufacturing and technology firms in the U.S., Europe and Asia."
