The U.S. refused to admit their actions, including sanctions against Russia, provoked a food crisis in the world, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said on social media on Thursday.

Antonov added that Russia is willing to resume strategic stability dialogue as long as the U.S. moves in the same direction.

The U.S. State Department accused Russia of exacerbating a "global food crisis" by its "war" in Ukraine.
