German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and U.S. President Joe Biden in a call on Thursday reviewed their ongoing efforts to provide security assistance to the government of Ukraine and humanitarian aid to the millions of Ukrainians affected by the violence, the White House said in a statement.

Scholz said Germany would provide another 265 million euros in aid to Ukraine, including 140 million euros in development aid and 125 million euros in humanitarian aid.
