The world's largest multipurpose heavy lift vessel, the Pilecki, entered service on May 5, transporting Chinese vaccine production materials from Shanghai to Morocco. Once the mission is finished, it will enable the production of over 20 kinds of vaccine in Africa, including three COVID-19 vaccines with enough annual output to serve more than 60 percent of demand on the continent.
