Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Saturday plauded the U.S. for its aid during the Russia-Ukraine military conflict, saying in an interview with Fox News that the U.S. is the “accelerator of the sanction policies” against Russia.

Meanwhile, Zelenskyy criticized the United Nations, specifically the security council, saying that it was “unable to accomplish any significant steps to provide Ukraine with security."

The U.N., including many member countries, have been trying to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. The U.S. and some Western countries are criticized for giving more arms to fuel the conflict.
