Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a new weapons and equipment aid package for Ukraine after meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Sunday.

Trudeau also announced that Canada is imposing new sanctions on 40 individuals from Russia, including businessmen and individuals associated with the defense sector, and five Russian organizations for "indirect or direct support" of the Russian military.
