The U.S. provided intelligence to Ukraine in fighting Russia, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield told CNN on Sunday.
The senior official said despite offering intelligence, Ukraine makes decision on “what they will target and how they will target.”
Her comment came amid recent media reports claiming that the U.S. provided intelligence that helped Ukraine target Russian warships and locate Russian generals.
“We have been consistent since the start that we will support Ukraine, we will provide them with the wherewithal to fight this war. And they are on the ground and they are pushing back the Russians. So we will continue to provide the kinds of support that they need,” she told CNN.
