Reporter's take: Hong Kong youths' expectations from the HKSAR's new leader
02:18

Representatives from 73 local youth organizations have submitted proposals to the newly elected Chief Executive John Lee Kai-Chiu of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Over the past year, the groups have collected more than 30,000 suggestions from young people working in different sectors.

The groups suggest that newly elected officials introduce young talents to join the management team. They say this will boost the participation of young leaders in legal and consulting organizations, allowing them to participate in Hong Kong's governance. Lee's election office says young people's needs are the top priority of Lee's political agenda and future governance.
