EU announces another $1.06b in aid for Syrian people

Josep Borrell, the European Union's foreign policy chief, announced at the Brussels Conference on "Supporting the future of Syria and the region" on Tuesday that the bloc will provide another $1.06 billion in support for the Syrian people.
