Agricultural bank invests $511m in cotton planting in Xinjiang

China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is the main cotton-producing area in the country. The Xinjiang Branch of Agricultural Development Bank of China has invested 3.438 billion yuan (around $511 million) to help large-scale and intelligent cotton sowing in the region.
