China firmly opposes and strongly condemns violent acts against journalists who are performing their normal duties and hopes that the incident in the West Bank will be dealt with in accordance with law and justice, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said following the killing of American-Palestinian journalist Shereen Abu Aqleh on Wednesday.
