00:42

A recent study published on Tuesday said that China could risk up to 1.5 million deaths if it were to drop its zero-COVID policy. The peer-reviewed research was conducted by scientists in China and the U.S. Their predictions, however, exclude the use of any safety measures, such as continuing vaccinations or access to treatment for those diagnosed with COVID-19.
