The United Nations should urge Ukraine to stop preventing the evacuation of citizens from the zone of Russia's "special military operation," Sputnik reported on Wednesday, citing Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during his visit to Oman.

"Russia expected that the end of the special military operation in Ukraine would help stop the attempts of the West to undermine international law," he added.
