Shanghai reports 228 new confirmed local COVID-19 cases

Shanghai registered 228 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1,259 asymptomatic cases on Tuesday, local authorities said on Wednesday morning.
Seven new deaths related to COVID-19 were also recorded on Tuesday, the authorities said.
