At least 6 killed after Slovenia chemical factory explosion

At least six people were killed and 20 others injured in an explosion at a chemical factory in southern Slovenia, local media reported on Thursday. 

A cistern exploded for a yet unknown reason early in the day, sparking a fire at the factory of resin supplier Melamin, according to fire brigade chief Leon Behin.

The factory is located in Kocevje municipality, some 60 kilometers south of the capital Ljubljana.
