Team China entered the Uber Cup final for the 19th time after routing hosts Team Thailand 3-0 on Friday, aiming to defend their title against Team South Korea.
Both singles matches went smoothly for China, as Olympic champion Chen Yufei clinched a 21-18, 21-12 opening victory against Ratchanok Intanon, and compatriot He Bingjiao snatched an easy win over Pornpawee Chochuwong 21-15, 21-15.
Team China's duo Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan had to come back from one set down to overturn the deficit 17-21, 21-13, 21-15.
Entering the final for the 19th time, defending champion China have won fifteen times out of the previous editions. They will face Team South Korea who outclassed last year's runners-up, Team Japan, in the other semifinal 3-0.
The Uber Cup final will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday.
