The Chinese-built Nairobi Expressway in Kenya, the first toll road in East Africa, will open to traffic on May 14. The expressway's opening is expected to increase local employment, ease traffic jams, and contribute to the beautification of cities along the route. From the design to the construction to its opening, the expressway has shown China and Africa are determined to build the Belt and Road jointly with high quality.
