Troops from the U.S., Britain, France and other NATO member states jointly conducted a "Swift Response 2022" military exercise on May 12 in North Macedonia, aimed at displaying military readiness along the alliance's eastern borders. Over 10,000 soldiers are expected to take part in the "Swift Response 2022" exercises, which run from May 2 to 20 and span five countries.
