Cai Yongbin, a blind man who became a top computer programmer after learning to code by ear, lost his sight at 6 years old due to an accident. Starting from the age of 14, he memorized the coding combinations after they were read out repeatedly by his screen reader and developed his first software in 2009. In 2018, he started his own business, allowing tens of thousands of visually impaired people to shop online, order takeaway and hail taxis.
