Foreign ministers from Turkey, Sweden and Finland met Saturday on the margins of the NATO foreign ministers’ informal meeting in Berlin, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu tweeted, without mentioning further details.
On Friday, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said it's not possible for NATO-member Turkey to support plans by Sweden and Finland to join NATO, given that the Nordic countries were "home to many terrorist organizations."
