Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Sunday said that Turkey supports NATO's open door policy in principle as it did in the past, adding that solidarity is significant for the pact as Finland and Sweden seek NATO membership.

He made the remarks in Berlin, where the NATO foreign ministers' informal meeting was held.

But he noted that Sweden's weapon aid to PKK/YPG terror groups is disturbing.
