The Chinese mainland has reported 140 new local confirmed COVID cases and over 1,000 asymptomatic ones. Shanghai remains the hardest hit, registering nearly 70 new infections. The city says it will gradually reopen in-person businesses as cases decline. CGTN's Wu Bin has the latest from Shanghai.
