Sweden and Finland's accession to NATO does not pose a threat but will trigger a response, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday at a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Moscow, Russia's TASS reported.
"Russia has no problems with Finland and Sweden, so their entry into NATO does not pose an immediate threat, (but) the expansion of military infrastructure to these territories will certainly provoke our response," Putin was quoted as saying by TASS.
