The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday it is ready to provide support to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as it battles a massive COVID-19 outbreak.

"With the country yet to initiate COVID-19 vaccination, there is risk that the virus may spread rapidly," the WHO's Regional Director for South-East Asia Region, Poonam Khetrapal Singh, said in a statement.
