Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva held a phone conversation on Monday during which they discussed IMF support for Ukraine.

"Discussed the need for financial support," Zelenskyy tweeted afterward, "The IMF is our important partner. We look forward to further fruitful joint work in maintaining financial stability of Ukraine."

Georgieva said they also talked about the importance of strong financial support from international partners.
