China's domestically built multi-purpose AC313A civil helicopter successfully carried out its maiden flight on Tuesday. The large-size aircraft can navigate complex topographical environments and climates with up to a crew of 28, and will complement the country's emergency rescue equipment. Its take-off weight is 13.8 tonnes with a water spraying capacity of 5 tonnes.
