The Biden administration announced an import ban on products from five entities based in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region last June over what they claimed were "forced labor concerns." A series of sanctions was followed by a bill to block imports from the region. CGTN visited one of the polysilicon factories in Xinjiang to learn more about the working conditions there.
