UK police said on Thursday that they have concluded the investigation into breaches of coronavirus lockdown rules at gatherings in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's offices and residence at Downing Street.

The inquiry, which began in January, had resulted in 126 people being fined for events across eight different dates, said London's Metropolitan Police.

The police have confirmed that Boris Johnson will receive no more fines over parties held at Downing Street and Whitehall, the Prime Minister's spokesperson has said.
