Germany pledges 1 billion euros in grants to help Ukraine

German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said the country had pledged 1 billion euros ($1.06 billion) in grants to Ukraine at a meeting of finance ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations on Thursday.
