Team China's Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong won the mixed doubles title at the Thailand Open badminton tournament on Sunday, while compatriots Chen Yufei and Li Shifeng both finished second, respectively, in the women's and men's singles events.

The Chinese duo and top seeds Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai from Thailand each took a set 21-12, 18-21 before the decider. Zheng and Huang found their form to take the lead after tying at 8-8 in the last set, and took the victory 21-14.

Shortly before, Olympic champion Chen Yufei finished second in the women's singles final, as Team Chinese Taipei's Tai Tzu Ying took the podium top 2-1.

Team China's Li Shifeng couldn't prevent Lee Zii Jia of Team Malaysia from reversing the game from one set down and had to finish second in the men's singles final 17-21, 21-11, 23-21.

Also on Sunday, Team Japan took the titles of the men's and women's doubles events.
