Countries in the Maghreb region of Africa, namely Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, are reporting an acute shortage of vegetable oil. Experts say the shortage is due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict and is affecting other African nations as well. They've called for local solutions to guarantee food security.
