The number of people killed in a building collapse in the southwestern Iranian city of Abadan on Monday has risen to 10, and the number of injured people has increased to 39, according to the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pir-Hossein Kolivand, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported on Tuesday.

He said sufficient equipment is stationed at the site and rescuers are removing debris to help those who may be trapped.
