After containing the recent COVID-19 outbreak, the local government of north China's Taiyuan is now focused on economic recovery. On May 20, it announced issuing digital consumption vouchers worth 420 million yuan (over $63 million) to the public, aiming to boost consumption, promote digital transformation, and restore the city's economic vitality.
