State Duma chairman says Russia will pay external debt in rubles

Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said via Telegram on Wednesday that Russia will pay its external debt in rubles and all the necessary funds for payments are available, after the U.S. Treasury Department announced on Tuesday it would not renew a license to service Russia's external debt.
