Beijing reports 16 new local COVID-19 infections

Sixteen new local COVID-19 infections were detected in Beijing on Thursday as of 3 p.m. Five of them were asymptomatic cases.
Among the new infections, 7 cases were found among people who were already under quarantine.
So far, the Chinese capital has logged a total of 1,670 COVID-19 infections since April 22.
